Ringing in the New Decade with Special Thanks
A message from Fred Mintzer - 1st Vice President/Vice President, Programs

Thanks to you - our loyal donors, supporters and volunteers - IEEE programs are able to bring the promise of technology, and the knowledge to use it, to communities and individuals all around the world. To drive these IEEE programs to new levels of technological access, innovation and engagement, the IEEE Foundation launched the Realize the Full Potential of IEEE campaign in 2018. Because of your philanthropic investments, the Campaign is on track to reach its goal of $30 million by IEEE Day 2020. For that and all you do for IEEE, we are truly grateful!

Your 2019 giving made it possible for IEEE programs to:

  • Foster technological innovation to combat global challenges like hunger, poverty and inequality
  • Inspire and encourage young people to study engineering
  • Tell the story of how engineering and technology impact the world socially, culturally, politically and economically
  • Herald the role that engineering and technology has on society every day.
We invite you to learn more about how the philanthropic investment of your time, talent and treasure during 2019 helped the IEEE Foundation improve lives around the globe by reading the four articles that follow - Illuminate, Educate, Engage and Energize.

We hope you will join the IEEE Foundation Board of Directors in making your New Year's resolution to help us help IEEE advance technology for the benefit of humanity and ring in the new decade by Realizing the Full Potential of IEEE!
