IEEE Foundation is leading a special campaign across IEEE’s expansive network to raise awareness, forge partnerships, and fund Priority Initiatives.
Tech Leaders Inspired in Singapore
Professor Teck Seng-Low welcomes 30 leaders from top technology and energy companies in Singapore to:
“An Evening with IEEE Foundation”

Located just one-degree north of the equator, Singapore has distinguished itself as a technology leader and boasts one most reliable power grids in the world. IEEE Foundation recently hosted events for some of the top power and energy leaders and academics in the region for two days to share how together, we can Realize the Full Potential of IEEE.

On 3 May, 30 leaders from many of the top power and energy companies in Singapore joined us at the Regent Hotel for an Evening with the IEEE Foundation – Engaging with IEEE Smart Village hosted by Professor Teck Seng-Low, CEO National Research Foundation, Singapore and IEEE Foundation Board member.

Foundation Outreach Extends to UK

As part of its efforts to promote the Realize the Full Potential of IEEE Campaign, the IEEE Foundation recently held two member events in London. The first, a breakfast meeting in the Chelsea Garden area of the city, included a diverse group of members who are all current donors to the IEEE Foundation. 


Events like this allow PES Scholars and donors to meet and network.  
IEEE Foundation Lights Up IEEE PES T&D

IEEE Executive Director, Steve Welby, opened the joint IEEE Foundation & IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Donor Luncheon at the bi-annual IEEE PES T&D Conference in Denver, CO by recognizing the success of the IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative and how in 8 short years, more than 800 students are pursuing a career in the power & energy industry.

20th presentation of the IEEE Presidents' Scholarship
This scholarship, presented at the annual Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), recognizes a student for an outstanding project that demonstrates an understanding an IEEE field of interest.
IEEE MOVE at Cape Fear Expo
MOVE will attend this community outreach event which provides critical information about area disaster vulnerabilities, and provide resources and tools to help residents prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.
