IEEE Heritage Circle
Honored Philanthropist

The IEEE Heritage Circle is the cumulative giving donor recognition program of the IEEE Foundation.

The IEEE Heritage Circle acknowledges the philanthropic spirit of those who have "given back" to IEEE throughout their career and lifetime. We recognize these Honored Philanthropists for the financial support allocated to one or more of 200 donor designated funds that support the scientific and educational purposes of IEEE.

Honored Philanthropists are those whose donations to IEEE Foundation total US$25,000 or more since 1 January 1995. Automatically recognized as members of the IEEE Heritage Circle, donors are categorized within five giving levels ranging from US$25,000 to more than US$1M.

The IEEE Development Office provides confidential information regarding the status of cumulative gifts of cash, securities, gifts of cash prizes, pledge payments, gifts of royalties, and donor advised gifts, and alerts contributors when milestones are reached. Bequests, planned gifts, corporate matching gifts, and outstanding pledge balances do not qualify.

Qualifying gifts made before the end of the calendar year will be added to your current cumulative giving total. Recognition levels are calculated at the end of each calendar year.
