The IEEE community truly answered the call on #IEEEGivingTuesday. This year, hundreds of members and friends came together to benefit IEEE Foundation and IEEE philanthropic programs. The generosity of IEEE membership and friends, like you, is unparalleled and 2022 donors surpassed last year’s outstanding giving.

Each gift illuminates, educates, engages and energizes programs that address global challenges through technology. This year, #IEEEGivingTuesday donors maximized their impact by unlocking a challenge match totalling US$28,000. This match was made possible thanks to the individual contributions from the IEEE Foundation Board of Directors.

Supporters selected programs they wanted to support, and when a program reached 30 unique donors they unlocked a US$500 grant from the IEEE Foundation – in addition to the total given by individuals and the challenge grant. Programs that met or exceeded the 30 donor threshold were:

* IEEE Life Members
* IEEE-USA MOVE

The IEEE Foundation is excited to have a network of impressive programs that make impacts around the world. A very grateful thank you to the 500+ donors who generously gave US$157,998 to all of our amazing programs.
